Greeting Brothers, Friends and Allies of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

It is with great elation that I welcome you to the 112^th House of Alpha. My name is Kerrick M. Loyd and I bring greetings as chapter president of the Nu Lambda Chapter, located in Petersburg, Virginia. For over 100 years strong, we have been and will continue to be a chapter committed to the motto of our beloved fraternity, “First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All.”

The Nu Lambda Chapter was chartered on December 18, 1923 at Virginia State College. Our charter members executed the vision for establishing the only alumni chapter in the fraternity on a Historically Black College/University campus. As we enter another year of existence, I am humbled and honored to be the servant leader of our historic chapter as we continue to focus on the initiatives set forth by our dear fraternity.

We hope that you will continue to peruse our site and our social media pages. You are invited to visit regularly to learn more about our chapter, and receive updated information regarding our service programs, fundraisers and other initiatives. By checking in often, you will see how we are actively working within the local community to continue to uphold the values on which our dear brotherhood was founded.
